My Plan!
I am going to rise up and save the world!
Trust, Respect, Honesty, and Communication are the keys to my plan!
We are going to learn to trust one another!
The world is going to learn about respect and how to respect people and their ideas! I didn't say you have to agree with everything, I said you have to respect the other person!
I am where I am supposed to be and you are going to be expected to be where you are supposed to be!
We are going to open the lines of communication! Everyone is going to learn how to talk and how to listen!
Our society struggles to talk, talking is not shouting or yelling. Listening is a big skill also!
To communicate we have to become good listeners.
Learning foreign languages helps people pay more attention to the fine points when someone is talking!
Stand up to those who swear or bad mouth people!
Learn how to talk like an intelligent person and cut the street slang conversations!
Grow up and become an effective communicator!
Grow up and be known as an honest and respectful person!
Grow up and become a leader!
Lose the excuses!
Get the job done!
What I am and My Plans!
I am a leader. I a superstar in everything I do!
I put my best effort forward in everything!
My intentions is to help people and make the world a better place!
The field of Cultural Geography has taken off because of me! People look at food, clothing, language, and interactions differently because of me.
I have brought people together. I have united the lost. I have healed the sick. I have given life to the weak. I have recognized the forgotten.
I speak languages that very few know of!
I continue to push for unilateral disarmament. I continue to ask people to put down your guns and talk to one another!
I am a problem solver not a problem maker!
I see problems as opportunities!
Negativity is not in my blood!
The defenseless, the poor, the weak, the sick, the helpless, these are the people I stand up for!
Personal happiness in a world with conflict does not add up!
It is my calling to go out into the world and improve the lives of others!
From the rain forest to the desert and all the way to the tundra I will be there to help improve your life!
Geography is about understanding the world and using knowledge to better society!
I will work hard to understand the people around me!
I will sympathize and adjust to your situation!
No one will be left behind on my watch!
I Will Achieve!
I have courage! I have the courage to stand up to what I believe and what is right and what is just!
Life knocks me down and I keep getting up!
I will stand up to the people who threaten the well-being of our society!
In my book no is not an answer!
I say find me a solution before you find me an excuse!
By the way I do not accept excuses!
Stand up to the people threaten our economy!
Stand up to the people who are targeting the middle class!
Stand up to the rich who are getting tax breaks!
Stand up to those who threaten our freedom!
Stand up to the evil forces of ISIS and help find a solution to defeat them!
You will not catch me saying I do not know because I am a student and I am not afraid to ask questions!
It is never to late to learn from someone else!
Stand up to those who do not respect women!
Stand up to those who threaten the future of our daughters and sons!
Stand up to those who do not believe in respecting the police!
Stand up to those who engage in discrimination!
Help the kids who know so little about the world!
Teach kids about Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America!
Go to the library instead of running the streets and committing crimes.
Be curious! Be adventuresome!
Believe in who you are!
Believe in what you can do!
Never lose sight of your dreams!
Never lose hope!
Be who you want to be!
I Will Rebound!
Stop making excuses...
Starting making history, start rewriting your acceptance speech.
I will!
Are you ready? Are you ready to join in the push to bring people together?
To end hunger, to end poverty, to end violence, to lay down our weapons and use words.
To achieve dreams, to achieve victory in life, to achieve greatness, and become who we always wanted to be.
There is no more might or will see. It is, I can do this, I can accomplish this, and I get this done!
The world is a scary place. If Supergirl can change the world, so can I!
Life is what you make of it.
I stand to say that we are done making excuses. We are just beginning the push toward greatness.
That the time has come to rise above all and lead the way, light the path for the weak. Educate the poor!
Stand up for your friends! Stand up for those who are being slaughtered! Stand up for those being persecuted! Stand up for people who are in poverty!
Stand up to the wealthy and make them pay more!
Stand up to the NRA and tell them that they need to compromise with the President of the United States!
Stand up to those who say the country is broke!
Stand up to those who won't pay their fair share!
Represent those who have never had a chance in life!
Africa, Asia, Latin America, Europe, North America I stand by and for you all!
Equality is important to me!
Believe in the day when all your dreams will come true!
Believe in the day that the world will be a safe place for all!
I have stood up to bullies in school and now I will stand up and help people all over the world!
I will leave no one behind!
Jump Jump Jump!
Jump for joy!
Jump for Jamaica!
Or that today is a new day and we are all looking to rebound!
Jump for Supergirl or Batman or Batgirl!
Think of Iceland.
Think of Estonia.
Think of the Adventures of Supergirl.
But do not think of the things that make you sad.
Easier said than done, but join in the push for positive thinking and action to better the world.
Join in the jumping and celebrating for life!
The World
We live in a world where there are no happy endings, there are no perfect relationships, and forgiveness is not a guarantee.
It is hard to grasp that one mistake, one slip up, or one word and your life can change forever and friendships are lost.
I continue to make excuses, I continue to make the same mistakes.
The feeling of hurt and emotional sadness is quite familiar.
The Marvel Civil War or the DC Universe is a piece of cake compared the the real world.
People judge, but at the same time forgiveness is a common token.
This Summer I received no understanding, not an ounce of forgiveness, and little sympathy.
Reality is I terminated friendships and relationships because I thought separation was the answer. I made that choice and now I have to live up to it.
I have to face to the decisions and choices that I made no matter how much it makes me sad and hurts.
There is no going back.
In the DC Universe or Marvel world the heroes can retrace their steps.
In the real world I found out that I cannot go back. I cannot reverse what people think of me.
I made a major mistake that cost me valuable and crucial relationships.
It is something I have to accept and eventually move on in school.
Yes, it is sad, but it is a hard lesson learned.
The Life of a Superhero and Lessons That Become Reality in Real Life
Forgiveness is often a given in the fictional world, but in real life its not.
The reality is having a temper, letting anxiety win, and talking to people when your upset can destroy relationships and friendships that we once valued.
It happened to me this Summer.
I cannot go back and the relationships, the connections, and friendships are gone.
I thought being a big man and being on my own without people caring and being around me would be the answer.
I wish I would have taken Supergirl's advice and tried to use my energy to mend and heal the situations.
In a moment a bad decision or a harsh comment can change life forever.
It hurts, it stings, and it makes me really want to be a better person and be nice to people.
I will never get back what I lost and that is a fact and I will never be able to change it.
I believe in second chances, but others do not.
It is the feeling that so much is gone and that people do not want to work with me anymore and they do not want to interact or be around me anymore.
Superheroes, people, and many others come to a point in life where you have to make choices and be prepared to accept the consequences.
The choices I made this summer will hurt, but they will change who I am so I never have to experience what I am feeling now.
