Dushanbe is a hard place to reach. A few ways by Airplane, very limited railway services, and not international bus services.
Is Dushanbe worth the hassles to see and experience?
Fun thing is you can rent a 4x4 vehicle or even a bike.
A lot venues and businesses are still reminded of the times of being apart of the Soviet Union.
Through music, theater, architecture, language, beliefs, economics, food, and alcohol.
Tajikistan is still impacted today by reasons related to Soviet Union and present day Russia.
A lot of Central Asian countries still depend on Russia.
Dushanbe also features some venues and restaurants that are show appreciation to Western culture.
